Refund Policy

1. The short version

Our products are digital files delivered instantly, so sales are final once your file has been delivered. The exception is when something is wrong on our side: if your file is defective, never arrived, is materially different from its description, or you bought it twice by mistake, tell us within 14 days and we will make it right, either by fixing the problem or with a full refund.

2. Before you buy

Every paid product has a product page with its full chapter list, its page count, its specifications, and a three-page preview taken from the finished file. Please read the page and the preview before you buy, so you know exactly what you are getting.

3. When we refund

Email us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full, or, if you prefer, fix the problem, in any of these cases:

• Not delivered: you paid but could not access the product, and we cannot resolve the access problem promptly.
• Defective: the file is corrupted, incomplete, or does not open, and we cannot provide a working replacement promptly.
• Materially not as described: the product is substantially different from its description on its product page.
• Duplicate purchase: you accidentally bought the same product twice.

We do not refund a simple change of mind after a file has been delivered, except where the law requires it. We still read every request, and we consider unusual circumstances in good faith.

4. How to request a refund

Email contact@interstellarkinetics.com with the subject line "Refund request," and include:

• the email address you used at checkout;
• your receipt or order number; and
• a short description of the problem.

We aim to reply within two business days.

5. How refunds are processed

We issue approved refunds ourselves, through our payment processor, Stripe, to your original payment method. After a refund is issued, the time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer. Once a purchase is refunded, your license to that product ends and you should delete your copies.

6. Before filing a chargeback

Please contact us first. Most problems are solved quickly by email, and a direct refund is faster and simpler for you than a card dispute.

7. Buyers in the EU and UK

If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. Under EU law, that right does not apply once supply of the digital content has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m)). At checkout you accept our Terms, which ask for immediate access to your file and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once your download begins. To make a withdrawal request before then, email us.

8. Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit any rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.

9. Free guides

Free guides cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund. If a free guide will not download or open, email us and we will send a working copy.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The version in effect on the date of your purchase applies to that purchase.
